About our glamping site
Welcome to Green Canvas… A mini-glamping site tucked away in the green heart of France. We currently have four fully equipped tents spread across a 1.5-hectare site. All tents can accommodate four people. It is therefore possible to book additional tents depending on availability. The tents are positioned strategically to ensure maximum privacy. We also offer meals (€25 per person) and breakfast (€10 per person). You can book an outdoor kitchen (€50 per week). There is a lounge area, table and chairs by the tent. The sanitary facilities are located in the renovated barn a short distance away. The swimming pool (5 m x 10 m)

Surroundings
The area is known as the green heart of France! There is still plenty of space and tranquillity, and even complete silence can still be found here. It also boasts an important heritage of architecture and art, visible in the many Romanesque religious buildings, fortified castles, medieval towns, and the renowned tradition of porcelain and leather craftsmanship.

Geweldig geslapen in het heerlijke bed, ondanks dat er geen elektriciteit bij de tent is mis je deze niet. Voor herhaling vatbaar!
Natuur, rust & ruimte: 5/5
De smaakvolle ingerichte tent staat op een prachtig groot terrein met een geweldig vrij en ver uitzicht. In totale rust en slechts geluiden uit de natuur. Wat uniek bleek is dat er voor iedere tent 4 stuks in totaal een eigen privé badkamer met douche, toilet en wasbak in de algemene ruimte is. Tevens een zitje, koelkast met honestybar en een wasmachine. Door de aanwezigheid van stroom en een speciale adapter in ieders badkamer kan je snel en veilig opladen en deze ruimte beschikt over supersnel wifi.
Persoonlijke en hartelijke ontvangst door eigenaar. Hoe heerlijk het zoutwater zwembad in de prachtige tuin met lig stoelen, een gezellig zitje en ook daar totale rust. Je merkt dat de liefde van An & Dirk voor deze prachtige plek en haar inrichting ook jou niet onberoerd laat.

Heerlijke glampingtent met prachtig uitzicht op de stilste plek die je jezelf kan voorstellen.
Erg fijne hosts die er alles aan doen je verder te helpen en thuis te laten voelen.
Prachtige, rustige streek waar je heerlijk kan fietsen of wandelen, of gewoon kan genieten van de rust.

Dirk en An zijn geweldige hosts die je warm verwelkomen en helpen met goede tips voor de omgeving.
Ook hun jonge hond Gastaar is een bron van vreugde die af en toe voorbij komt waaien.
Het dorpje waar de tent aangrenst heeft iets heel eigenzinnigs en romantisch.
Het gebied is niet erg toeristisch, wat erg fijn is voor de rust.

Prachtige tent in een zeer rustige en groene omgeving! Geweldig uitzicht en fijne bedden. Daarbij was er ook nog een heerlijk verkoelend (zoutwater!) zwembad. Al met al een heerlijke plek om veel tijd te besteden.

Gewoon een heerlijke plek in het groen. Zoveel rust en ruimte om je heen.

Mooie tent op prachtige plek omringd door rust en natuur. Met een tafel, lekkere stoelen en een plek om vuur te maken. Heel gezellig in de avond. Dirk en Ann zijn hartelijk en gastvrij. In het dorp is een tennisbaan die je gratis kunt gebruiken. Denk er wel aan om wat kook- en keukengerei mee te nemen. Het is nl. een feestje om bij je tent te eten. Eigenlijk hoef je nergens naar toe als je hier bent.

We zijn ontzettend fijn ontvangen door Dirk en Ann. We voelden ons erg welkom. Ann heeft twee keer heerlijk gekookt voor ons en het ontbijt bij de tent was royaal en luxe. We hebben genoten van het heerlijke zwembad in de mooie tuin. Het is er ontzettend stil op de uilen en nachtkrekels na. De omgeving is mooi en er zijn vele dorpjes te bezoeken die de moeite waard zijn. We hebben echt een hele fijne tijd gehad!

Swimming and other water sports:
For an enjoyable family outing, visit the Lac Saint Pardoux lake. The lake covers 300 hectares and is hidden among the woods. From Vallée Dorée it is just under twenty minutes' drive. Lots of activities are organised for young and old. Apart from the various walking routes, you can also go water-skiing, swimming, fishing, canoeing, sailing, horse riding, archery, tennis, mountain biking...there is a beach volleyball field and a real adventure park. For the little ones, there is a giant bouncy castle park.
Valée Dorée is located in a picturesque little hamlet amidst vast, hilly countryside, forests and lakes. The Haute Vienne, by the way, is a region that is very green with many rural villages. It is also a quiet region where tourism has not yet caught on and where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful nature. Haute-Vienne is one of the three departments of Limousin, located next to Creuse and Corrèze. Cros is in the middle of three large natural parks. To the south are the parks regional Perigord- Limousin and Millevache en Limousin. To the north, Cros borders the Brenne Natural Regional Park. The area is known as the green heart of France! In " Le Dorat" a small village about 17 km from Cros, the delicious "MARCHES DE PRODUCTEURS" are organised every Thursday during the summer months (July and August). Local farmers and traders in meat, dairy and vegetables display their best wares. These are displayed in various stalls in the market square. You can buy limousin beef and local vegetables at very democratic prices. And if you don't feel like preparing everything at home...they will prepare it for you! There are several BBQ,s where you can have your meat roasted. Large tables are set, plates and cutlery are provided...conviviality prevails.
Would you like a wine tasting? Then we will send a sommelier who will let you enjoy delicious French wines combined with fine meats and cheeses from the region. More info on site.

Compulsory cleaning: 95.00 euro
Extra equipped tent can be rented at 250,00 euro per week (please state the number of extra people who might be staying in the tent).
A deposit of 120,00 euro is to be paid to the following account IBAN BE21 0636 7774 5503 or to be paid on arrival. The deposit will be returned to your account 1 week after your departure if no serious defects have been found.
Pets are only allowed after consultation. Price: € 10,00 per day, per week

Dogs are more than welcome but do not belong in the pool. Price 10 euros per dog.
On request, a jacuzzi can be installed at the pool: 80 euros per week
